Missing my dogs back home in Ohio. I grew up with dogs and have 10+ years of personal dog care experience. My family had two boarder collies and two Australian shepherds, which means I spent a lot of time running around with them and playing fetch. I have spent time volunteering at multiple animal shelters, caring for big, medium, and small dogs. In high school, I worked as an intern in vet clinic in their kennel. I shadowed vet techs, observed surgeries, and provided emotional support for animals in pain. I loved getting to spend time with everyone’s special animals. Additionally, I learned how to care for animals with a variety of medical problems and special needs, from blind and deaf to ear infections and diabetes.
