Dental student and dog/cat lover

Pet care experience

I have consistently had dogs in my life since I was 3 years old (German Shepard/Husky mix and a yellow lab) as well as cats since 8 years old. While I wasn't the primary caregiver, my parents instilled in me a sense of responsibility towards the love and care for furry friends. While living in Boston for dental school, I do not have a pet of my own, so all of my love can go towards your's.

Lea took such great care of our pup while we were away; we could tell that she genuinely loved hanging out with our lab! She also provided great updates and check ins to let us know everything was going great. Will definitely be reaching out to her again next time we need a sitter!

Lea was great to work with. My dog was instantly comfortable with her when we first met and had a great stay. Lea clearly experienced, comfortable and confident with dogs and I am very glad I trusted her with my dog. We got regular updates (texts, pictures) during the stay. Would definitely go to her again if I needed a sitter.

Lea provided excellent care of Zoey, we love the video and photo updates so we knew Zoey was having a blast and in good hands. Lea spoiled our baby with toys and we packed one meal sort so Lea went out and got her something for that one meal. Can’t recommend Lea enough!

Safety, trust & environment

I live close to a few parks and a dog park (fenced in) that will allow time for your pup to get out and play. On rainy days, I don't mind going outside either but would be more than happy to curl up with your pet if they are more of a couch potato.

Information Lea R. would like to know about your pet

I would like to know if your dog needs any medications administered and the best way to do so (hiding in peanut butter). It is important for me to know if your dog has any dietary restrictions or foods that you wish for them to stay away from. Does your dog have any fears? I spent many summer nights in my bathroom holding my dog Emma during fireworks and my dog Mika during thunder storms. Are there any special toys or tricks you use to settle your dog when they are uneasy? I would like their stay to be as easy as possible for them, as I know that being away from family can be very tough.

A typical day

I hope to take your dog around the South End! If it is a Sunday we can walk to SoWa market and maybe get some treat samples. We can walk to Starbucks and get a pup cup (if allowed). I like to go to the dog park nearby that provides a safe area for dogs to run and play together.
