Growing up in an apartment we couldn't have dogs or cats so my experience was limited to gerbils, hamsters and fish. As soon as I became an adult I was very excited to have fur babies of my own as I have always loved animals. Currently we have a mini Australian Shepherd and help our rescue friends with various foster dogs. Our pevious pets included a full sized Aussie, cats and chickens.
