I approach everyone (animals included) with the perspective of meeting them where they are at. Different personalities and stages in life require different needs, and I honor that as much as I can! Why flat rates: Since pet sitting is what I do full-time, I keep my rates simple for my own accounting, and based on time spent, not what I am doing with that time. I like to know health details about your pets in advance to help me care for them best in the event that they feel a little down from their parents being gone. Most pets notice that their parents are away and have feelings about that. What medications do they need to take and will they have enough for the duration of my care? How many treats are acceptable? What are their bad habits? Let me know what their quirks are so I can give them the best care possible!
A typical day
I am a big fan of walks from home. As a blanket policy, I do not put pets in my vehicle unless it is for a vet visit. Exploring the neighborhood gives a sense of community, and an opportunity to create easy and repeatable daily patterns.
