Pet care experience
My husband, Alex, and I have a 1-year-old mini golden doodle, Muffin, who we have raised from nine weeks old. so we are very comfortable with puppies and the training/consistency they require. Also experienced with older dogs, big and small dogs, as I have had dogs all my life. We value positive reinforcement, enrichment/play, and safety above all else! Happy to follow specific pet parent instructions as I know how important that is to have trust between parent, and the pet sitter. I will always keep you updated with how it’s going, with daily updates of photos/videos/blurbs. Happy to chat more in detail about anything else pertaining to my care of your pet!
Reviews
Lea H loves dogs but also cares for their well-being. She has had many dogs in her life and is educated and well-researched to different personalities and training modalities. Working by day as a physician assistant, she is caring, smart, dependable and responsible. If you needed help with your dog, call on Lea! She’s amazing!

We are available to do daycare/boarding at our apartment (we also have a one year-old mini goldendoodle, who is very playful/friendly) or to care for your pet at your house for drop ins/overnight house sitting. If your dog comes to our place, I would never leave the dogs home alone together (there would be constant supervision by either me or my husband!) but I know Muffin would appreciate the company of another dog around!

Information Lea & Alexander D. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know of any pet parent preferences or special dog needs such as dietary restrictions, meals, if I can give them treats, if allowed on the couch, if potty trained/how long they can hold it/how long to be left alone, where they sleep (dog bed or crate). Would appreciate if there are any behavioral triggers- Do they not like small dogs? Especially afraid of people wearing hats? Eat stuff off the ground on walks? Will they eat stuffed animals? Possessive over bones/food/toys? Things like that!
A typical day
Typical day includes morning walk around 8am around the neighborhood and to downtown Burlingame. Could take your dog to a fenced dog park (if you like) or instead play at home - tug of war, search game with kibble, fetch. Could go on a long walk/mini hike in a new area too - like along the Bay Trail or on a creek side trail that is dog friendly. Evenings include snuggles while watching tv and of course another walk around the neighborhood before going to bed.
