Hi, My name is Layton. I am 22 and new to the San Diego area. I am super responsible and have been pet sitting and house sitting for 10+ years. I grew up with lots of pets including dogs, cats, and even a bunny! I love animals and it would truly be a dream to get to work with pets on a daily basis. I know how important pets are and I would love to provide exceptional care for your fur babies! I have experience caring for dogs of all different breeds and sizes. I have also cared for dogs that have specified needs like food allergies, physical disabilities and special medication. I’m excited to begin working with Rover and look forward to meeting you and your pets.

Layton is an animal lover plain and simple. She has always had a soft spot for all creatures. She is a very responsible caregiver to pets. During her college years, she created her own side business to help with her tuition expenses by pet sitting. She has experience in caring for others cats and dogs as well as her own dog, cat and rabbit.
Although she had good intentions Layton accidentally took my house keys. Which did not allow another dog walker to to take care of my pet. She also was not very punctual and did not get back to me until possibly 30-45 minutes sometimes even an hour or two after walking my pet. She was inconsistent with contacting me and hopefully that day was just an off day. However this is not something I think any dog owner would like to go through wondering if she actually walked your dog on time or if they are okay. Unfortunately I will not be rebooking as the situation caused me more stress than ease. She was super nice but keep this in mind.
Where do I even begin?! Layton has watched my beloved dog and two cats for the past 6 years. I completely trust her in my home and have absolutely no worries when I leave my fur babies with her. She truly has a love for animals and treats them as if they are her own. She has even cared for my dog at her home, taken him on car rides, and family events. I even get pictures and how much she enjoys being with my pets. You or your pets will not be disappointed in the care that Layton will provide. I have nothing but praise for her as a pet sitter.
