I have been a dog sitter for 15 years, and I have had my own dog for 6 years. I absolutely love all types of dogs! My own dog takes daily medications, so I’m very used to taking care of dogs with specific needs. I am an active person, and love to take dogs on all sorts of adventures: hiking, backpacking, mountain biking, and cross-country skiing. If your dog is up for it, we’ll go!

Layna was great to work with! My pup had a great time with her dog. They went on multiple outings a day which was amazing for my active golden. Received lots of pictures and updates. 10/10!

I have a small, fenced in yard, and large dog friendly fields in my neighborhood. Dogs are allowed on the couches and beds in my house. I don’t have any crates in my house, but if you bring a crate for your pup I will use it. I have a large, friendly black lab mix who hasn’t met another dog he didn’t like. He loves to play and nap!

It's important for me to know if your dog has any special needs, such as medications or a specific schedule. I would like to know if your dog has good recall and can be off leash, or if they need to be leashed outside. Either way is great, it's just nice to know ahead of time. I also need to know if they get along with other dogs.
A typical day
I love to get outside with my dog and dogs I watch! I go for a hike, cross county ski, or mountain bike ride most days. If I can't get out to the trails, I at least go to the dog park or for a long walk around the neighborhood.

Availability
I’m currently in school part time and working part time. I’m usually out of the house during working hours, but I always come home for at least half an hour in the middle of the day to let my dog out and check in on him. In the evenings, I go out on a hike, long walk, ski, bike ride, or to the dog park, so they can get all their energy out. On weekends, I go for longer hikes and adventures.
