I am a professional dog groomer and have previous professional experience at boarding and veterinary facilities. I have volunteered at an animal shelter and thanks to this eye opening experience feel confident handling animals with high energy, high anxiety, and other moderate behavioral issues. I have personal experience caring for dogs, cats, rodents, large and small birds, farm animals including horses, freshwater and saltwater fish, ferrets, reptiles, and other exotics such as sugar gliders and hedgehogs. I can confidently administer oral or injectable medications and can address needs such as post-op wound care. My experience in an animal hospital allows me to act quickly in the event of an emergency and helps me recognize minor issues that others may overlook.
