Pet care experience
I've taken care of animals ever since I was very young, and have been exposed to animals my entire life. I've worked with and studied a variety of species ranging from cats to dogs to reptiles and amphibians. I've taken care of older dogs, senior cats, and am happy to adjust anything to your cat or dog's specific diet or needs (i.e. sensitive stomachs and bladder problems); I do know how to bathe and groom cats and some dogs in my home, including brushing, but I do not have a high powered dryer at this time.

Great service, took good care of my dog
Layla was absolutely FANTASTIC with my doggo on her overnight stay. She set a ton of pictures and updates. She was very attentive to Harley and was able to give her lots of love, snuggles, and reassurance when Harley was anxious being away from me.
Layla treated my cat so well! She was very responsive and kept me updated while she watched my cat. I definitely recommend her.

I have a secure apartment and four very sweet cats who can keep your animal company :]! I also will never let a cat outside without supervision/a harness or leash, the same goes for any dogs! All animals will be under supervision the best I can keep up with them!

Information Layla D. would like to know about your pet
I would need to know if your dog has had interactions with cats before, and if they are comfortable with them in a home. If your dog is not comfortable with cats, then I don't know how long I could board them if at all. I would also need to know your dog's energy level, food schedule, if they are crate trained, and know what commands they do know (and if they do something special for food, i.e. sit and wait until told to eat, etc.),so I can follow it and plan accordingly! I also would like to know if an animal has a specific medication or condition that I should be aware of, with larger dogs I would like to know if they have any trigger spots!
A typical day
I'd love to walk with dogs down by the creek in a forest near my home, where your dog could get all sorts of stimulation from wildlife smells and sounds! Of course, making sure your dog is not bored inside as well is something I keep in mind! I enjoy playing with dogs in general, so they will hopefully not be bored while they are here! Making sure your dog is happy and comfortable will be my number one priority, and I will do my best to make sure their days are positive! We also have a wonderful field for them to run and play in nearby.

I do volunteer at the humane society nowadays, so I do need a 24 hour heads-up before animals come to my home. I am very flexible with my schedule and do my best to keep my calendar updated. In the future, I do expect to be going to college on Mondays and Wednesdays for several hours at a time. This will be updated regularly :]
