Pet care experience
Pet sitting was my first ever job 10 years ago. Have loved caring for all kinds of pets (even goats!) since then. Growing up, I took my dog everywhere and gave him the most awesome experiences. With permission, I take my clients pets out hiking, swimming, running, doggie cafes and many other activities. Will also take funny and cute pictures for you each time❤️ I’ve volunteered at a few animal shelters and can handle different behavioral types. I can even teach pretty cool tricks. My family dog can jump through a hoop and loves it haha! Also, just recently trained a puppy this past year for all of you who have youngens. No current pets live with me at the moment in case your dog doesn’t get along. I live right next to several parks, am a quick responder, very flexible, energetic & responsible. Layla was a perfect friend and caregiver for our dog, Eevee. Layla watched our dog for a week during the holidays and from the photos and videos we could see that Eevee was living her best life with someone who loved her. Layla is dependable and a great communicator. We booked well in advance and Layla made sure to keep the contact warm so when the day came the transition would be easy for both my family and Eevee. During Eevee’s stay with Layla our kids loved the photos and videos of Eevee’s activities. We appreciate everything Layla did for us and our Eevee and will look forward to connecting again.

I have a fenced yard in the back of my building, and my place is very accommodating if your pet needs to be crated or anything. You can see the park from my window, so there is plenty of space around me to run & play. I love to hike and run, so your dog will get plenty of energy out.

Please just let me know if your dog needs any special treatment or has any unique behavior. I’m accommodating to mainly all types. Have experience with animals of all ages, and am extra gentle and loving to our older babies.
A typical day
I’ll play anything from fetch to tug of war, wrestling etc. My favorite thing is to take your pet on hikes and let them run & smell around. As said in my bio, I have several parks next to me. Will take them on as many activities as I can, including the morning coffee run.

Availability
I am currently working part time remotely, and so I have plenty of room in my days to care for your pet and take them on all the walks. I definitely do not mind adjusting my day to hang out with a furry friend.
