Pet care experience
I am a 1st time dog mom and I have trained my baby. I have taken care of family pets as a child as well. Lastly, I dog sit for my friends dogs all the time. I am caring and patient.

Rover users beware: If you have a shy or anxious dog, I’d strongly recommend finding another sitter – Lavon J. did not exhibit patience or due diligence with our 4-year-old rescue. We were initially drawn in by Lavon’s low price and wide availability, but unfortunately, those factors were insufficient to outweigh the litany of concerns during this stay. Lavon refused to take any proactive steps to mitigate our dog’s anxiety, causing us profound concern for her well-being while boarding. Overall, managing this stay with Lavon was an incredibly stressful situation, and it was certainly not how we preferred to spend our limited time away with family. I would suggest finding another sitter, as Lavon does not possess the requisite care, compassion, or patience to care for your fur baby’s needs.
I've never felt more comfortable leaving my girl somewhere. Whenever I go on vacation I know if Lilly is staying at Lavon's, Lilly is on vacation too. Lilly is smiling in every picture Lavon sends as an update 🥹
The best dog sitter I've had. Consistent updates were provided of my dog smiling and having a great time. I'm so grateful I found Lavon through Rover!!!
I had never left my dog with a sitter and was slightly nervous about how she’d interact with a sitter. I was so happy with the photos and updates Lavon sent me daily!

I follow any feeding and caring schedule communicated. I also will adhere to any schedules for medication. I have a crate so I can also crate sit if requested. I own my home and my property is gated with a front and back yard so the dogs can run around and be free.

A typical day
I have a miniature poodle and she is high energy. If your dog Is high energy she will surely match the energy and provide many hours of play. We will go to dog parks, play fetch in my yard, and play chase in my yard.
