Pet care experience
I've cared for animals ever since I can remember. My mom ran a doggy day care out of her home, and I helped feed, groom and exercise all of them. I love taking dogs on walks and would often volunteer to walk my friends dogs just for fun! When I started apartment living I started taking in cats. I've cared for over twenty cats, ages newborn to a 17 year old with FIV. I've even helped a mother cat give birth! I'm comfortable administering medication to any animal and can adjust walk lengths to what your breed needs.

Lavinia was amazing. I needed a last minute dog sitter for my two 16 and 1/2-year-old Maltese. Cody and Kayla are old and quirky and have special needs due to their age. Lavinia took good care of them and kept me updated and sent lots of cute pictures. She did such a great job that I already rebooked her for my next trip in 2 weeks! I was glad she was available again. I'm always a little nervous when I leave my dogs as I travel frequently. I never worried about them when I was gone because I knew they were in good hands. I highly recommend her.
Lavinia was fantastic with Momo. We did an initial meet and greet, and she asked detail oriented questions to get to know Momo and his triggers, which put me at ease because it showed that she understood the fundamentals of canine behavior. She is obviously very experienced, punctual and organized - Which makes it an absolute breeze to work with her. During their walk, she sent me plenty of photos of Momo looking so happy and if she wasn’t moving further away from me, I would want her to be my regular dog walker.

Lavinia is the best! Super reliable and great communicator. She got in touch when she needed to when Ollie had some stomach issues and went above and beyond in taking care of him. She also left the apartment in pristine condition. We are looking forward to the next time we can have her take care of Ollie.

A typical day
I love to walk in general and adding a dog friend makes the walk even more fun! I can walk your pup for as far and long as it needs, or if it prefers a short walk and lots of playtime, I can do that as well. I'm very happy to provide any kind of exercise your dog needs! I've walked dogs in many different kinds of urban, suburban and rural environments.
