I have previously worked at San Diego Humane Society as an Adoption Counselor but my love for animals began when I started working at my stepmom's dog grooming shop when I was 17 years old. It was there that I was exposed to different types of dog breeds and temperaments for the first time and learned on the job how to first handle challenging situations. I then graduated to working for WAG Hotels day and boarding care. It was at WAG we had endless daycare and summer/holiday slumber parties. I met so many more dogs working there and it eventually led me to where I am today. Working for the San Diego Human Society, I was adopting and taking care of dogs, cats, and many other furry friends. I have learned here how to genuinely take care of and have been taught to tune into the unique needs of each type of animal I have come across. Personally, I have also become a cat mom and have fallen in love with my 7-month-old Russian Blue. I have also personally leash trained him so we go on daily walks together. He is my adventure buddy to the beaches, trails, and road trips beyond.....my little Pokémon!
