Pet care experience
I’ve taken care of dogs and cats since high-school. I know all the basic care and super excited to work with pets of any kind. I am also a very active person who loves to go on walks, runs, or play outside. I have experience with puppies and older dogs as well as cats and willing to work with more than one pet.

Brigid and Faust spent a little over two weeks with Lauryn and loved it! I have a kitten (Faust) and I've been extremely hesitant to leave him with anyone -but was immediately put at ease on our meet n' greet, as Lauryn seemed patient and caring and overall an excellent fit. I had no problem leaving him in her care. I had forgotten to leave extra litter for my kitten (oops!) and Lauryn alerted me immediately and went out of her way to purchase a new bag. I'm very grateful. Watching two animals is no easy task, let alone a 9mo. Kitten and a senior/anxious/hyperactive pup (Brigid) I boarded them both together and I'm glad I did. Lauryn took on the challenge with ease! My pup is very high energy at times and definitely needs a higher degree of supervision, (fairly easy because she is NEEDY for affection) which requires lot of patience. Lauryn was able to coax her to take her medicine easy peasy. Both Faust and Brigid clearly had a blast and would be happy to stay again. I would reccomend Lauryn to anyone looking for an attentive and compassionate sitter.
Busy had a great stay with Lauryn! She was available to provide updates and I was confident Busy got lots of exercise and attention! Would definitely recommend

Please let me know if the dog has any special needs or need any special attention during the visit. I am happy to provide any special care the pet may need. In order to make sure the visit goes smoothly as possible please set up a meet and greet with me through the app so that I can get to know you and your pet! This way I am able to get direct instructions for any special needs your pet may have and I am able to attend to them properly.
A typical day
For a normal drop in visit or walk I will take the pet around the owners house and see if there are any parks or trails close by. As a runner I know the area around chapel hill very well and know where all the good running and walking places are. If the owner is up to it and wants a longer walk, I am happy to take the pet to Carolina North Forest which is a great walking area. As an active person I love to play catch or tug or war if the owner has a backyard.

Availability
I do work from home with some days I head to the office for the afternoon but am available the rest of the time. I also run everyday so that would be something I also fit into my schedule.
