I'm a 22 year old full-time student, long-term based in St. Louis. ➜ owner of 3 dogs (Ollie, Benji, Cash), 2 ragdolls (Blue & Lulu) and 1 horse (Scooby)! ➜ trusted at the barn to take care of others' horses (also, best friend of the barn cat, Yoda) ➜ often driving through South County, Oakville, Fenton, Arnold, Chesterfield, Rock Hill, and House Springs 🗺 I've been riding and taking care of horses since I was a kid, so nothing about animals intimidates me in the slightest. I don't have a weak stomach; I've dealt with every kind of mess that animals can make. I've had old pets and young, sick and healthy, my entire life. Every one of my animals is fairly demanding and very spoiled, but I adore them. My horse has taught me everything about being a pet parent: effective time management, self-confidence, resilience, responsibility, and the importance of following an animal's routine. I visit my horse nearly every day to brush him, blanket him (if it's cold enough), hose him off (if it's hot enough), clean his stall & water buckets, and give him attention. My animals mean everything to me, and I would not be the pet parent I am today if not for the years spent caring for my finicky, spoiled, grumpy gelding. I also help friends with their horses when they're on vacation. Last winter, I helped out with a friend's very old, somewhat-sick former grand prix competing horse. I am absolutely not a stranger to caring for other peoples' pets. I've had just about every kind of dog there is, and two of my childhood dogs were over a hundred pounds.
