Pet care experience
I started off taking care of dogs at a young age because my family bred Border Collies as cattle dogs. I aided in caring for and training puppies, teens, adults, and elderly dogs all through my childhood. I have worked with all dog sizes and types, from small to extra large and low-energy to high-energy working dogs. I have experience with more difficult and stubborn dogs and can assure you that I have all the patience in the world for your beloved pets! Additionally, I have worked with cats from a young age and am able to follow any tasks pertaining to your kittens, adults, or elderly cats as well!

Lauryn cat sit for us and was five stars on all fronts! She updated us thoroughly without prompt, and sent studio quality photos that made us sooo happy. Our cats with health conditions were taken care of very well and given so much love. And the house looked so lovely when we arrived, we didn’t have to worry about cleaning up after a tiresome drive. Can’t wait to have another stress free trip thanks to Lauryn.
Lauryn was a great sitter. She always checked in and sent pictures. One of my pups was throwing up due to fast eating, and she was sure to keep me informed and made sure I knew what was going on. I felt confident that my dogs were in great hands!

Lauryn was awesome! I think my dog has a new best friend. She came before we booked her to meet Ginger and she took the time to listen to my dog's needs (she was diagnosed with MUE) and go around my house. We used her services twice the same day. She sent me photos, followed all my instructions, and kept me posted. She did a fantastic job. I will definitely book her again.

I will be focusing on working at the pet owner's home to take care of the pets so there will be no worry about bringing my dog into the home. I make sure to wash and sanitize well before interacting with the pet owner's dogs or cats to reduce the passing of germs or smells that may irritate the pet. I am able to follow relaxed or strict agendas for the pets while taking care of them, so if they have health problems and need to be administered medicine, I am able to do so safely and responsibly. If walking the dog, I always make sure to keep separation between the client's dog(s) and others unless given instruction to do otherwise to ensure the safety of all dogs in the surrounding environment.

I prefer to get as much details about the pet as possible before the booking. This helps me better understand the needs of the dog as well ass the owner(s) preferences.
A typical day
Depending on the needs of the dog and how much time I have, I make my schedule from there. If it's a high energy dog, then I like to take then outside and play fetch or go to the dog park to give them time to burn it off. If it's a low energy, disabled, or older dog, I prefer to stay close to home and not be too rigorous. Usually brushing, lots of snuggles and pets, and going on a casual walk.

Right now, I have a job in the military which means my schedule is set to the specific hour every single day. I am able to come check on pets Mon-Thur 11am-1pm and 4pm-8am, Friday after 1pm, and any hour during the weekend for check ins and overnight pet care.
