My experience working with animals started with volunteering over 80 hours at Mt. Pleasant Animal Shelter walking dogs, socializing with cats, and cleaning up after both. Soon after I got my first dog, Kobi, with whom I share my profile picture and a big chunk of my heart. With such wonderful experiences working with animals, I decided to, in addition to a Bachelors degree in Biochemistry, pursue a degree in Animal Science. I've been working as an Animal Care Assistant at an veterinary hospital where I get to work with dogs and cats of all ages, sizes, and medical conditions. I have my sights set on applying to veterinary school in the near future. My aims in working with Rover are to gain even more experience working with dogs and to just have some fun.
