Hello there! I am a compassionate animal welfare professional with nearly 7 years combined experience with two local humane societies. I formed lasting relationships with board members, volunteers, and donors who would entrust me to care for their dogs, rabbits, cats, fish, and reptiles during holidays and busy travel months. I have demonstrated experience in vet assisting and am Fear Free certified, meaning that I am very comfortable administering topical, oral, injectable medications and subcutaneous fluids with gentle handling and positive reinforcement. I am also comfortable adhering to strict veterinary or limited-ingredient diets. Please ask about appointment dropoff/pickup and yard cleanup services. Laurinda puppy-sat for our two cockapoos in our home while we were away for 7 days. During that time, we felt so at ease. Poppy and Daisy adored Laurinda at our meet-and-greet, and she connected with them immediately. Laurinda contacted us each day with a mini-update and photo and at the end, she provided a general summary. Our house was well cared for, too! She went above and beyond what was expected. The morning after we returned, Poppy and Daisy scratched at our bedroom door to be let out, and they ran immediately to the guest room looking for Laurinda. They had forgotten she had already said ‘goodbye’, but we promise we’ll invite her back!!

I am available to stay at your home overnight, reinforce training, feed/water, administer medications, clean, do some grooming (brushing, toenail trims, bathing) and daily walks/exercise. I am also available for drop-ins during typical work hours (9am-5pm). I am happy to care for pets who live indoors, in sanitary conditions.

Availability
I am available for petsitting and dog walking full-time beginning Sunday, October 1, 2023. So I will have plenty of time to housesit, stop by for daily walks/feedings, and provide quality care to your pet while you're out. My schedule is flexible and will adjust based on your pet's needs.
