Would love to schedule a meet and greet to get to know your dogs, cats, lizards, birds and You! I've been an animal owner and lover all my life. I've had all kinds of pets throughout my life including dogs, cats, turtles, birds, fish, frogs, rabbits and more. I grew up in Minnesota and moved to Los Angeles 30 years ago. I've owned dogs as small as 5 lbs and all the way up to 90 lbs. I have rescued all of my dogs from shelters as young as 3 months and have cared for all until their passing over the rainbow bridge. I currently have two rescued terrier mixes named Chloe and Bon Bon. I'm comfortable with all animals large and small and have lived in the city as well as the mountains of Los Angeles and Kern county. I'm comfortable with wildlife that is seen and encountered while out and about walking in our city close to foothills and local mountains, ie: coyotes, bobcats, bears (Oh My!).... I love caring for animals and people of all kinds. I've been in the restaurant industry for over 30 years and am looking to expand my care to pet sitting and walking to one day become a full-time income.

Laurie did a wonderful job with my dogs. They returned happy and well exercised which is great and just what they needed. They loved her right away! I will definitely be calling on her to walk and care for them again! She is definitely a “dog whisperer!” An extremely reliable and friendly person. You couldn’t go wrong leaving your dogs in her care!
I have known Laurie for over 20 years. I couldn't think of a better person for you to trust with your furry friends. The love and devotion she gives to her animals is inspiring. I have watched her take in scared and timid rescues, and turn them into well behaved and positive social friendly dogs. She would give the same love and devotion to your dog, as if it was one of her own. Your dog would be part of the pack, and not just a visitor. You will not be disappointed.
Laurie is a kind customer service oriented person and is very in tune, attentive and caring towards animals. She understands all feeding styles including raw and supplements. On walks she is careful and cautious and always has safety on the brain. She also talks to dogs and keeps them engaged which I love because I do the same thing. :) If you are looking for a highly communicative, caring and thoughtful sitter, look no further! Laurie is your person!
I've known Laurie to be an extremely compassionate, caring and loving person to her very core. This is ever so clear when you not only see her with people, but with animals. I've seen her interact with various breeds, naughty to nice, and her ability to always remain calm, in control and compassionate in every situation is something I watch, learn and strive to achieve as well as she's mastered it someday. As someone who prides themselves on doing the right thing, being a walker/sitting on the Rover platform for several years now, with a 5 star rating (51 reviews as of 9/24/20), I without a doubt would trust any of my furry loved ones with Laurie.
