I’ve had my own dogs since I was a teenager, and have been house sitting for mostly friends and family for the past 10 years. I’m experienced with giving dogs medication, senior dogs (I have a doggie ramp too if you choose to board your pup in my home), and I always make sure to give them lots of love and attention. My own dogs are spoiled rotten and yours will be treated the same! * PLEASE NOTE: If I am hired to stay at your home, it MUST be a smoke-free home. Additionally, I am unable stay at a home with cats (or a home in which a cat has lived in the past few years). I’m highly allergic to smoke and cats, and both will trigger my asthma. Thank you for your understanding.

I am a trustworthy adult professional who is trying to earn extra income to pay for my children’s college, while also being able to spend time with dogs and puppies; it’s a win-win! For dog/house sitting: I will treat your home as my own and follow all directions to keep your pups as happy and content as possible while you are away. For in- home boarding: I have a large fenced-in yard where your furry friend can run and play. I have four dogs of my own (all rescue dogs - 3 small dogs and one dog who is 50 lbs) who are well behaved around other dogs. The pups go outside many times a day to go potty or play. If requested, your dog will go on walks.

Please also let me know how your dog does on walks, favorite spots for walks, and where your dog will stay while I’m at work. * PLEASE NOTE: if your dog is being boarded at my home, he or she must be treated for fleas/ticks prior to the stay. Updated vaccinations are highly encouraged (my dogs have updated vaccinations and are treated monthly to prevent fleas/ticks. My yard is also treated monthly in spring/summer/fall months by a professional company for ticks).
A typical day
Your pups will be spoiled rotten on a daily basis. They will get lots of attention, and tons of snuggling (if that’s your dog’s thing). We will go on a walk or two, play fetch or do anything fun that your dog enjoys.

Availability
I am a teacher and am home in the summers (other than when I go on vacation). During the school year I’m available for dog/house sitting (I will be at work during the week days though), evening pet walking, and weekend in-home boarding.
