Spacious home, fully "catified" with wall perches, climbers, sisal scratchers and cat trees. Ample room to wander, run, explore, play, hide, sleep and cuddle. Two kitty litters upstairs and down, lots of toys and treats.

Laurie was the best boarder for Gucci. Very responsive, attentive, perfect catified house, and calm vibe which indicated a great attention to pet care for our energetic Bengal. I would confidently leave Gucci under Laurie's expert care anytime.
I confess I was not a cat person until I made friends with Laurie. She's a real live Cat Lady. I mean that in a good way.
Laurie has had many feline members of her family and the love and care she has for them is awesome. They became very well loved members of her family. We have a cat as well and whenever she comes over to visit she is met with our kitty who she loves as well. She has play structures in her home that the cats can climb up on and is always attentive to their needs and can also spend the time entertaining them to make the experience rewarding for both.
Laurie has always been someone who loves to care for animals and has much experience doing so. Her home is a space that is perfect for an animal, fitted with all the fixings a cat would love, and most importantly, it is a calm, caring, clean, warm and welcoming environment. Laurie is great at understanding your animals needs and caring for them as you would. I would highly recommend her!

To make your cat feel safe and comfortable when they first arrive, I will keep them in my own bedroom until they feel accustomed to their surroundings. Lots of water, food and a kitty litter, and they can hide and sleep behind the chair, on the chair, on my bed, or on the cat climber that goes up to the ceiling, where they can look out the back window at the squirrels and birds.

Maintaining consistency in feeding routine is important to prevent digestive issues. Also there may be places on the body where they don't want to be touched, or places that could be tender due to a recent injury. Does your cat like to be picked up and cuddled? Do they like running around? What is their favourite game? Do they have any trauma from previous living situations?
A typical day
My cat toys are varied so your cat will never be bored. I find they love to play hide and seek, go fetch, laser, fish, and ball maze. Immediately following an energetic game period is a good time to feed them. Play, feed, sleep.
