Pet care experience
I’m a dedicated animal lover! I’ve owned 2 dogs (golden retrievers) in the past 13 years, and a total of 9 wonderful cats over the past 4 decades. I have adopted senior animals, feral cats, and rescued abandoned cats. I’ve cared for older pets, given oral meds, and even given subcutaneous fluids to keep an ill pet more comfortable.

Laurie was beyond excellent. So conscientious. Very responsive in advance and during visit. I couldn’t have asked for a better sitter. Ziggy loved Laurie and her family. They obviously have great love for animals! You can’t go wrong choosing Laurie as your sitter.
Laurie is an amazing pet caregiver. In my experience she has cared for cats and dogs, and all of them have had very full and happy experiences. As her neighbor I have seen this love and caring first hand.

Laurie is great with animals and has shown a lot of love for two goldens. She's also a big fan of cats and has done well with administering medications and taking care of complex medical issues for her older fur babies. She is kind and respectful. I would trust her with any of my pets.

I have a large backyard with invisible fencing. I live in a quiet cul de sac with a large nature area adjacent to it. I love to pamper dogs with lots of toys, cuddles and walks. I grow my own organic catnip, and make my own cat toys with it. I also do a lot of string-play with cats who enjoy it (my oldest cat is about 16, and she now prefers more “sedate” play 😊) I also enjoy dog or cat sitting in the client’s home.

Let me know if your pet has any special needs. I’m an expert with “feline pill-popping”, as well as doggie “medicinal cheese balls”! I can do post-surgical care, elder care, and TLC. Special litter box needs accommodated, too!
A typical day
My time with your pet is the most important part of my day. I want every furry friend to love their time with me, so special “sniff-walks” and playtime with lots of toys and cuddles, brushes and more await your dog, while kitties can enjoy my homegrown organic catnip, their own furry mouse to catch, and “fishing rod” toys that dangle and delight! I can admister oral and subcutaneous meds, deal with seizures and other special needs, too!

I’m retired, and so I’m pretty much always available for pet care!. I have my own transportation, so I can also pick up and drop off pets. Your pet’s safety and well-being are my primary concern.
