Pet care experience
I enjoy daily walks with my husky who hasn't met another dog that he doesn't adore. Your dog will be well cared for during his/her stay with us and will get plenty of exercise as well. We have various walking routes in the woods or on the beach nearby that we frequent. I have on occasion taken care of 4 dogs for extended weekends and love the responsibility of caring for, feeding, cleaning up after and watching dogs socialize and simply enjoy life. One of the most memorable experiences of my childhood is when our golden retriever had 11 puppies. When they were several weeks old, my Mom agreed to bring in one or two for show and tell to my fourth grade class. She couldn't decide which ones to bring and much to my surprise (as well as my classmates), she brought in all 11! Responsible and safe home.

Laurie is wonderful! She took really good care of our German Shepherd, Raksha. We haven’t left our dog at someone else’s house very often, so always worry about her separation anxiety and how the sitter is going to take care of her when she is anxious. Laurie and her son made sure to walk her regularly, shared pictures and details about her day without me asking her. I found Laurie kind, caring and professional. Thank you Laurie!
Laurie was great with Kash! Lots of pictures of him having fun with Anders, her husky fur baby!
Doggo was happy as ever with Laurie. She sent pictures multiple times and took him on long walks and adventures. Definitely would use again!

Let me know if your dog has any special needs to anything that I need to know about. We do have a dog and a cat that both love other dogs and cats. My cat is used to keeping up high on counters and furniture out of the way of dogs that like to chase him. He is incredibly curious of new dogs.
A typical day
I go on daily walks with my dog at the beach or various trails in the woods. We generally walk for at least an hour, however we can curtail the walk if that's too much for your dog. We also have a great yard for throwing a ball for those that like to play fetch.
