Pet care experience
We always had dogs growing up, and now I have two of my own dogs, a 13 year old havanese I got as a puppy and a senior golden I adopted in 2021. I also foster older dogs looking to find a forever home for their golden years. I simply just love dogs and will take care of yours the way I would want someone to take care of mine when I go away. I work from home full time so your dog will get plenty of love and attention and access to my fully fenced in backyard whenever they want it. I’ll send multiple photos daily of your pups stay and time with me ☺️ I am willing and able to take care of dogs with special needs, whether giving meds, adhering to strict diets, or anything else in the best interest of the pup.

Laurie is the best!!!!
Thank you! Toby loved hanging out with you and your dogs today. Appreciated the updates and photos too :)
Booked with Laurie for the second time and yet again, she went above and beyond! My dog was so happy to see her again that she bolted out of the car when I dropped her off. Thank you Laurie!
Laurie always takes such good care of our dog, Nico, when we are away. She goes above and beyond for him, and we can tell that she really cares about him and takes the time to bond with him to make sure he is comfortable and secure. He loves going to Laurie's and spending time with her, Captain, and Bronx! Thank you as always Laurie!!

Your dog will be considered family while here at my house. That means walks, cuddles, lots of pets, and treats (so long as you're OK with it). They'll have access to the many dog beds around the house and access to outside (where there are more dog beds) whenever they want. I have fully fenced in front and back yards. The backyard has a 6ft fence and a security door that locks.

Information Laurie G. would like to know about your pet
I almost always have two visiting dogs at my house at a time. I require a meet and greet for all first time visitors to not only make sure us humans can ask questions and feel comfortable but to make the pups first drop off a easier experience. Questions I’ll ask at our meet and greet to better understand your pet: - their food schedule? Do they have any food aggression? Any dietary requirements? Can they have treats? - what is their nightly routine to go potty and settle down for the night? - what is their normal exercise routine? - does your dog have any separation anxiety and if so how does it present itself? - is your dog working on any tricks or training I can work with them on? - does your dog react to other dogs while on walks? - is there anything else you want me to know or think would be helpful to know about your dog to make them have the most enjoyable stay possible?
A typical day
Your pup will get a stay tailored to their needs! If they need multiple walks and mental stimulation, we’ll do that. Are they couch potatoes? That’s good too. Somewhere in between, perfect!

I work from home full time and love to walk so the dogs always go with me! My dogs love backyard fetch time and dog beach/Fiesta Island many times a week (I don’t take visiting dogs to the beach for safety).
