Pet care experience
We owned a beloved golden doodle named Duffy for 10 years and every day was a joy. Our hearts haven't healed enough to get a new pup yet but we absolutely love dogs and love having them in our house.

Laurie is awesome! She took care of our Labradoodle like he was her own, even carrying him down stairs because he was nervous without a rug there. She is an excellent communicator too! I highly recommend her!!
Laurie and Eric were wonderful and our black lab mix had a great time! Laurie was very communicative throughout our dog’s stay and we felt very comfortable leaving our dog in Laurie and Eric’s care. Great experience overall and we will definitely be having them watch our dog in the future!
Laurie and Eric took great care of our shy dog. We were provided regular updates on how she was doing and they really went above and beyond to make sure our dog was comfortable.
Laurie & Rick took great care of our mini poodle, Bisbee, while we went on a short, 2-day vacation. It was clear right away that they love dogs and Bisbee seemed comfortable with them right away. Laurie was great at communicating with us each day to keep us informed of how things were going. The first pic she sent was of Bisbee sitting comfortably on Rick’s lap. A laptop by Rick’s side lay ignored (looks like Rick couldn’t get much work done with our little, attention-craving charge visiting!) When we arrived to pick Bisbee up, he was walking with Laurie, happily wagging his tail. He then tagged along after her almost ignoring my husband and me. I think Bisbee wanted to stay longer! We highly recommend Laurie & Rick as pet sitters. Clearly, they love dogs and dogs love them. Your pup will be in good hands with them!

We have a large unfenced yard but we live on a quiet cut de sac and would take your pup out on leash for potty breaks. We can walk on-leash in the neighborhood or off-leash in the woods if that is what they're used to.

Please let me know if your dog has any special needs whether it's food related or behavioral such as extra potty breaks. We will follow the rules you have at home such as letting him on the furniture or not, whether people food is ok, how many treats a day, etc.
A typical day
We will spend time with your dog doing whatever he/she likes best, whether it's going for long walks on the street, running in the woods or just playing fetch in the backyard and cuddling. If your dog normally sleeps in his own bed, your bed with you or in a crate, we're happy to accommodate that. Potty breaks can be as often as necessary and will always be on-leash. We just want everyone to be happy and comfortable while they're here! Our home has central AC to keep cool in the summer!

I'm available most days and weekends and have a very flexible schedule. My husband also has flexibility in his job and loves to take long walks in the woods or streets.
