Welcome! I’m looking to enjoy the company of your furry friend in my safe, clean, loving home. My home becomes your pets home away from home. I provide all the love and care needed to make your pets stay safe, comfortable and stress free. A meet and greet is always set up first, so we can go over all the details and safety precautions that I take in caring for your precious pet. While you’re away I provide daily updates and photos to bring a smile to your face. I am a professional dog groomer with over 35+ years of experience with all breeds of dogs. I completed the Barkleigh Pet Professional first aid and CPR certificate course on January 3, 2023 to add to my skills. As a professional pet care provider, I strive to build on your trust in me that you will feel comfortable allowing me to care for your beloved pet. References are provided upon request.

When ever my family has gone on a vacation, we never have a second thought of where we would bring Bella other than Laurie, her attention to care and making her feel at home and not depressed while we are away is paramount in our choice to leave with her. We also have Laurie groom Bella every 8 weeks. Prior to using Laurie we used a place where Bella would come home shaking and scared for about two days, that has never been the case with Laurie, she treats as if Bella is hers. We couldn’t be more appreciative for that. Highly recommend her and her services she offers.
Laurie is one of the best! My pup, Stella Blue, LOVED Laurie and so do I! Laurie is such a wonderful and loving person, who WILL take care of your pup and make you feel comfortable leaving for your day or vacation. I only use Laurie for a sitter and a boarder. I do not trust another more than her. If you are looking for a caring, honest, loving and trustworthy puppy sitter, look no further! Laurie is the BEST & I am so lucky to have met her :)

The safety of your pet is my top priority. Your dog will have plenty of walks in the safety of my back yard. I never unleash your dog when we are outside in my backyard and I never leave your dog unattended.

It’s important that your dog is current on vaccinations. I also recommend identification tags on your dog’s collar. I work best with as many written details as you can provide me about your dog. Keeping your dog on the same feeding and potty schedule as if they were home makes it easier on them. I also like you to provide me with either a blanket or an article of clothing that smells like you. Your scent is calming and your dog will be more comfortable adjusting in their new environment. If your dog prefers to sleep in their crate or has a dog bed please bring it with you. You supply me with their belongings and I’ll supply all the love and belly rubs and scratches behind their ears.
A typical day
I would like to find out from you what your dog enjoys. What makes your dog happy? My goal is to make your dogs stay with me a positive experience. Every dog is different and they all have different personalities. Some dogs enjoy going outside to play ball while others prefer sitting on your lap. I’m here to spoil your dog like you would at home.
