Life wouldn't be worth living without dogs! I have been engaged in dog rescue for years, taking care of dogs ranging from a diabetic and blind Maltese to the most recent guy who was a 90 pound Lab. They are unique individuals who deserve love and respect. I believe in earning a dogs trust and unlocking that which makes him/her happy. I have a fenced yard and a neighborhood beach right across the road. There are lots of options for fun here — as well a a good snooze. My Kerry Blue Terrier is an excellent host and playmate as well. He is the elder statesman of the household and a gentle presence altho a tad loud on first meetings. Mango is a ACD mix I found in the middle of nowhere in rural Mississippi. After regaining his health, he moved to Massachusetts. He is a rambunctious 2 year old but also a protector if he senses a dog has special needs. One of his best buddies is a blind, mostly deaf young canine. While Mango will give high energy dogs a run for their money, Fionn and I are also equipped to care for dogs who are less energetic or have special needs such as med administration (including injections). I do ask that special needs be fully disclosed and discussed at the time of a booking request. I cannot accommodate dogs that are incontinent.
