Pet care experience
Hi there! My name is Lauren, and I have personal and work experience with all sizes and energy levels of dogs. I have completed a Reactive Rover program with Kitsap KARE, and am knowledgeable, accommodating, and understanding about reactivity in dogs. I have personally owned and professionally cared for cats for many years. I have owned and cared for many other exotic pets, so feel free to ask about care outside of cats and dogs when booking with me. If you need anything else such as your house plants watered, feel free to let me know and I will happily help out as best I can! I love all animals and it is always my goal to make both owner and pets happy, safe and healthy. Lauren is excellent! She took great care of our two dogs while we were gone, was very accommodating, sent regular updates and photos and made sure they got plenty of exercise. Our frenchies loved her, will definitely be using her again in the future!
Lauren was absolutely WONDERFUL. She showed up on time and was very respectful of our property. Not only did she send photos and follow all the instructions that I left, but she also got our shy kitty Chester to warm up to her for some love! Both our cats were covid kittens, so they did not get human socialization for a few years aside from my husband and myself. Chester would always hide when we started having guests over again but he absolutely loved her :) could not recommend Lauren any higher.

Please no excessive levels of barking/separation anxiety. I live in a duplex community and have to be curteous to neighbors. Does your pet have any special needs? Does your pet have any allergies? Does your pet take any medications? How energetic is your pet? How old is your pet? Does your pet have a favorite treat that you give them? For Dogs: Do they know basic commands? Do they most respond to treats, praise, petting or toys? Are they kennel trained? Do they have any barking tendencies? Do they have separation anxiety? Have they ever bitten someone? Are they leash trained? Do they get along with other dogs? For Cats: Are they litter trained? Do they enjoy being pet, or prefer being left alone? Are there certain toys they enjoy most? Do they tend to run out of doors?
A typical day
I live in a calm and walkable neighborhood that it's full of sidewalks and trails. I am able to incorporate training into daily walks or play time indoors. I frequently hike and would enjoy bringing a companion along with me.

Availability
I usually work about 4-5 days a week in SLU with variable hours. Most work days I am only gone for about 4hrs at a time, and will always be only 10-15 minutes away from home. I am available for in person meet-and-greets, and if it is more convenient I can always schedule a phone call.
