Your Neighborhood Cat Sitter!

Pet care experience

I've been a cat mom/ cat sitter for 21 plus years and counting! I've taken care of kittens 10-12 weeks old, young cats, in addition to older senior cats. I make sure that every part of their routine is followed to the 'T' when it comes to feedings, special treats, play time activities, daily brushings (if you prefer), cleaning litter every visit, and cuddle time preferences making sure your sweet kitten/cat feels loved and gets tons of attention while you are away. This also includes cleaning up any accidents or messes made, so you come home to a clean house. I send daily updates and photos, so you know how he/she is doing throughout your trip and can rest assured that all animals are happy and well taken care of. I will accommodate any specific requests or extra time your animal may need to the best of my ability as well. I will love your fur babies like my own and give them the absolute best care while you are away.

Lauren is great! My cat is a very anxious girl and she does a great job making her comfortable. I would recommend her to anyone!

Lauren was a fantastic pet sitter for my cat Lily! I was meant to go on a trip over the weekend, but Lily got sick on Wednesday/Thursday night. I sent out several requests on Thursday and Lauren was the first to respond and let me know she had availability. I was able to meet with her Friday before I left for my trip and she had no problem helping me out so last minute, even with the additional steps required to give Lily her medicine and navigating my home security system. Lauren sent pictures and videos of Lily with each visit to let me know she was still okay and starting to feel much better and was starting to run around and play again. It was Lily's first time having a pet sitter and being left alone for the whole weekend, but Lauren made the whole process easier on her and gave me a lot of peace of mind during my trip. I would highly recommend Lauren as a pet sitter to any cat owner, and want to mention how accommodating she was on this last minute request and making me feel comfortable having someone stop by my house to take care of Lily.

I keep a very clean and non-cluttered apartment with a balcony and no yard. The balcony door is locked at all times and very heavily monitored so no kitties get access to outside at any time. My kitten gets free reign of my apartment, including my furniture and bed. We have a lot of toys to play with and a 5ft 3-tier cat tree to climb on and look out the window for birds. My cat, Garth, is 1 years old, very lovable, and always welcoming new friends to play with. He has no problems with new cats coming in and is very patient if his new friend needs time to adjust to our home. He's up to date on all of his shots and flea protectants and is strictly an indoor cat.

Information Lauren W. would like to know about your pet

I would want to know the following: medications, allergies to food or anything else, aggressive tendencies with other animals, any behavioral tells I should look for, if they get nervous around specific people or things (men, women, children, cars, cats, other dog breeds), what furniture are they allowed on, if any.. what areas of the yard are they allowed to play in, potty issues or behaviors that are outside of the norm (are they accident prone), any specific commands the dog responds to, and any restrictions of any nature I should be aware of.

A typical day

I would take them around their neighborhood or to a local park and play fetch, go on a run or walk, and play with their favorite rope toy for some tug-a-war.
