Pet care experience
I have extensive experience working with pups (and pet parents) who struggle with separation anxiety as well as long term periods of care for your furry little guys! My first memories as a kid are playing with my family's chocolate lab and I've been an absolute dog lover ever since. I spent 2 years as a Petsmart dog washer during my undergrad and learned valuable dog handling skills that would make me an excellent dog washer. I do tend to spoil dogs with love and affection and would absolutely pamper them.

Lauren did such an amazing job with my dog! He's very codependent and she gave him so much love and attention. I could definitely tell that he was happy under her care! She also sent me pics everyday and updates on what he was doing! Would 100% book with her again!
Lauren took great care of our anxious rescue dog, Charley, while we were gone for 17 nights on an overseas trip in mid to late October. Charley is very attached to us, especially my husband and we haven't left him for that long before. Lauren came for a meet & greet a few weeks before our trip so our dog could get to know her. She and Charley hit it off right away. Lauren sent daily pictures and updates about how Charley was doing while we were gone. She even got Covid at the end of her stay but continued to care for Charley for those last few days. We would definitely recommend Lauren for house sitting / pet sitting and hope to use her again.
Lauren was a wonderful house and petsitter! Our dog Buzz was so happy to have her stay with him. She was very responsive and responsible. I highly recommend Lauren.

I am a skilled dog handler and am able to ensure your pup will get enough exercise in a safe and controlled environment. I maintain a tidy home and don't leave things out for dogs to chew on or destroy and will keep the same level of cleanliness in your home.

I like to know of dogs have any allergies and medical conditions as well if they are allowed to recieve treats. It's also important for me to know if they have any anxious quirks so I can accurately judge their stress level during our time together
A typical day
I love providing dogs with mental AND physical stimulation. I believe that making a dog think and problem solve is just as important as running off their extra energy. I love going for walks on the trails near my apartment and through Merrits Pasture. After all that exercise and play time I love to pamper and cuddle dogs to give them extra love and affection and ensure they have a positive experience

Availability
I am a physics grad student who does research in the summer and takes classes during the school year so I am often on a work from home bases in the summer and have classes Tuesday and Thursday during the school year. I have a fluid schedule and can adjust my time to fit your schedule.
