Pet care experience
I have taken care of dogs my whole life and have experience with all age groups of pets! Additionally, I have experience with small dogs (Chihuahuas) up to larger breeds (Belgian Malinois and Mastiffs.) I also love cats and am available for their care too! I am an avid animal lover and will treat every animal with love and care. I am known for giving extra cuddles and making sure to send as many photos as you need while they are in my care! Finally, I am comfortable with giving animals treatments/medications if necessary.

We used Lauren recently and were not entirely pleased with her stay. She showed up an hour late and was not communicative about it. Then she left our pups for 6 hours when I made it clear they shouldn’t be left for more than 2-3 hours. She would send pictures of our pups as if she was at the house but our front door camera showed that she was not at the house. Just a little bit sketchy about the whole situation.
We absolutely adore Lauren, and our pups do too! It’s very nerve-wrecking to leave our dogs, as one requires medicine administration and the other is a very nervous dog, but we feel very safe leaving them with Lauren! She sends loads of updates and is very personable. Thank you, Lauren, for always looking out for our pups!!
Our dogs (pittie mixes) Dax and Daisy love Lauren! We appreciate how well she cares for them. She is very communicative with us and sends pics throughout the day. We don't worry that our pups are being cared for well when Lauren is staying with them. She's great!

A typical day
I like to get to know your pet and talk to you to understand their favorite things to do. I understand that some pups/cats are more "couch potatoes" while others crave more activity. If the pet is a couch potato, I will spend extra time cuddling them and making sure they are living their best cozy life. For all pets, I will often take them on walks and/or take them for playtime outside. I am comfortable walking pets and having them in the car. Shelby Park is my preferred park for walks, but I also love talking the animals around the neighborhood or familiar spots. One of my favorite activities to do is to take pets for "pup cups" (if allowed.)

Availability
I work from home the majority of my workweek. I am available to come over for walks, food/water breaks, potty time, etc as needed during the day. I can also water plants and watch your home while you are gone. For the days I am in the office (Tue & Wed)- my availability is limited to post 4pm. Please reach out with any questions!
