Pet care experience
My family has always loved animals and I grew up around dogs of every kind, cats, birds. I grew up taking care of a shitzu, a chocolate lab, and a schnauzer. When I moved out on my own, my busy school schedule prevented me from getting a pet of my own, but I started fostering dogs with a local agency. I love caring for dogs, giving them extra love, providing a comfortable and safe environment, and finding them the perfect forever home.

Lauren is one of the most caring, thoughtful, and responsible people I know. Her character and compassion know no bounds. She has gotten along with every dog I have ever seen her with because she knows how to gain their trust, respect, and affection. While patient and caring, she doesn't let them walk over her and will correct unacceptable behavior in a professional way if it becomes an issue. Finally, I am very impressed with her organization and timeliness in caring for pets when their owner is away. She is number one on my list if someone need their dog taken care of!

A typical day
With the dogs I care for, I love to feed of their energy and do things that seem to excite them. I love to stay active and find fun new trails to explore. I’ve studied different ways to train dogs on leashes and love to practice those skills where needed in a fun, thoughtful way.

I currently work as an RN in a 7am-4pm clinic. I typically have ample free time in the evenings, my days off (typically Thursdays), and weekends for any pet loving.
