I’ve grown up taking care of animals my whole life. From dogs and cats, to bunnies, rats, hamsters, and fish. I’ve worked at doggie daycare/boarding that trained show dogs, obedience training, as well as grooming for a little under a year. I joined Rover for not only the flexibility, but I miss making some furry friends!

Lauren did a fantastic job watching our pups while we were away! They are Australian cattle dogs and require a little extra exercise which Lauren had no problem with. She was extremely communicative and responsive and there was no shortage of pictures of our pups while we were gone! Lauren also left our house very tidy and even cleaned up the dog poop which she didn’t have to do. 10/10 would recommend to anyone who needs a reliable pet sitter and we will absolutely be booking her in the future!

My name is Jane W. I am a retired junior high math teacher and a neighbor of Lauren Wilson. I have known Lauren all her life and have had the pleasure of watching her grow into the fine young lady she is today. Lauren is hard working. She is honest, punctual and trustworthy. The many times Lauren took care of our dogs, and house sat for us, we never worried. We knew that Lauren would go the extra mile to care for our dogs. Daily walks in the park, or at the beach, helped our dogs not feel lonely during our absence. Our dogs love Lauren. Lauren loves animals. I would prefer to house your pet within your own home! Not only does this make it easier since I have 3 roommates and a cat, but will be less stressful on your furry family member! I have a fully turfed backyard with a pool (no fence) and a shaded patio.

Most importantly, please let me know if your dog has medical issues that require meds, special diets, injuries, or temperament issues (leash aggression, defensive over food, toys, etc.) If there’s any specific routines please let me know so I can try to follow them as you would yourself! A small description of your dogs’ personality would be very appreciated as well.
A typical day
Besides the normal walk to give your pup some exercise, some things I do in order to keep my dog busy is lick and snuffle mats (if their diet allows it). I’d your dog know tricks I would happily test their skills and reward them with treats. This along with any toys your furry friend loves with be played with!

Availability
I am currently enrolled in my last year as a nursing student here at ASU. Unfortunately, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursday’s are unavailable for day sitting, and only single night visits would be possible. Anything after 2 on Fridays, and total availability on the weekends!
