As an animal lover with a family of 4 pets, I understand how difficult it can be to find dependable and quality pet care. My pets are everything to me. With 15+ years of experience animal sitting, dog walking, and house sitting, I can assure you I take care of all animals like they are my own. I am a naturally charismatic person that will show your pets love and attention, so you can set your mind at ease knowing you have booked with me. I am the person who is not afraid to hold up traffic when there is an animal loose on the road. I am the one at the dog park actively running around and playing with my dog. I have a big heart for all animals but no more room in my house to offer anymore strays a loving home. Instead, I’m offering my pet sitting services. I have a wide open schedule while I’m taking a break from my professional career. To set your mind at ease, I do offer free consultations (either virtual or in person) so you can make sure I’m the right person to care for your pet. I look forward to meeting your fur-family!

We have a senior dog that requires a lot of care, and so grateful for Lauren’s help. Theo still likes going for walks, but he is super slow and Lauren is so patient with him. He doesn’t play much these days, but loves sitting outside and Lauren will sit there in the grass with him and keep him company. She has been great to work with (and easy to work with).
Lauren is easy to work with and our dogs love her. There are have been many instances where we asked for her help with short notice, and she has always come through. Thanks Lauren!
We had trouble finding the right person who could match our dogs energy and handle their size. Lauren INSTANTLY set our minds at ease. Had her over to take Cosmo and Buddy out back for some fetch, and she handled the dogs with no problem. She gives them her undivided attention when she is with them. We were used to other dog sitters just letting them out back and letting them back in when they were ready. Lauren actually goes out and plays with them and keeps them running around. Even though we did not request it, when she goes out with them on rainy days, she brings towels and wipes to wipe them down before letting them inside. Our dogs love Lauren visits and so do we.
My family and I appreciate Lauren so much. We have a shy rescue dog (Daisy) that takes a while to warm up to people. Although she is not on her own often, when we will be gone, we quickly learned dog boarding was not an option. We struggled finding a dog sitter as it really takes time for Daisy to warm up to people and a lot of the dog sitters we met unfortunately had tight schedules or when we did finally find someone, they weren’t always dependable. Lauren has been great for Daisy and our family. She was so patient with Daisy and seemed to understand how to approach shy dog situations. Daisy warmed up to Lauren quicker than even some of our family members. Daisy is crate trained and will usually hide in the end of her crate when a stranger approaches. Lauren took her time with Daisy, letting Daisy get comfortable with her just even being in the house. Daisy now lets Lauren take her for walks and is not afraid to run around with her in the backyard. We hate having to leave the house knowing Daisy will be home alone, but when we know Lauren will be there, we definitely feel at ease. We are going to be moving and absolutely hate we won’t have Lauren for dog sitting. She will be hard to replace and I’m certain Daisy will miss her.

When dog walking, I will always have your dog on a leash (even if they’re off leashed trained). Please ensure you provide me with any important details when caring for your pet in your home. Although I cannot offer my own home to watch your pets, I do have a fenced in backyard if on a sunny day you would like for me to pick up your dog and bring them over for some safe play time in a safe environment.

Specific feeding instructions, crate instructions, diaper wearing animals, high energy, low energy, handling oral medications, shy animals… I’m comfortable with a variety of animal needs just need to know your pets behaviors and or triggers in advance so both me and your pet feel safe. I have sat for many dogs with a wide variety of behaviors. I love all animals with all different energy levels and types of behaviors. Please provide any and all details that will be helpful to create a safe a loving space for your dog so we can have a good time together.
A typical day
Tell me what your dog likes, and I will make sure they are kept safe while also having fun. I always bring spare dog toys (for dogs that do not have toy aggression). I do my very best to keep your dog engaged during play time or while on walks so they have fun and also burn some energy.
