Pet care experience
I’ve worked in animal shelter settings since I was 11 and worked in people’s homes for over a year caring for their animals. I am also a vet tech student with extensive experience in behavioral health and basic first aid. I can work with special needs animals and am trained in basic medical procedures such as injections, fluids, and any pill or liquid oral medication. I also have extensive experience with exotics such as rabbits, ferrets, guinea pigs, chinchillas, rats/mice, hamsters, reptiles and amphibians

Lauren is a dependable and committed pet sitter. We have an epileptic cat who needs oral meds administered and Lauren has done a great job with drop-ins. She’s affectionate with animals and they love her right back (and our cat is picky!).
Lauren was wonderful with our cats. We were out of town for a few days and Lauren stayed with them during our absence. They even joined Lauren in bed during the night (for our one scaredy cat, that's high praise!). Lauren was quick to reach out with questions if our instructions were unclear or there was an issue. We would be happy to have Lauren pet sit for us again!
