Pet care experience
I’ve been in love with cats and dogs for as long as I can remember. From those with my family and neighbors, I have always loved caring for, cuddling, and playing with them. I have been taking care of pets professionally for more than two years now and have found it to be such a fulfilling experience! Due to my busy (and frugal) life as a medical student, I can’t own a pet, so I would love to hang out with some furry friends! I have experience administering oral medications, and I am happy to administer medications for your pet. I would just need a thorough explanation of the pet’s needs to allow me to care for them.

Lauren is amazing! We were in a bind when our other plans fell through and Lauren came through at the last minute. She was so sweet and calm with our dog. He was anxious from our road trip but slept soundly with Lauren there with him. 10/10 stars for Lauren!
Lauren was able to help us super last minute and was such a saving grace. She stayed longer than she had to and did an amazing job.
Lauren was absolutely amazing! She watched our fur babies and house sat for us while we were out of town. She came by and met our pets before the stay and was so kind. Our pets loved Lauren and really warmed up to her quickly. She sent pictures and checked in with us the entire time. We had such a great sense of relief knowing Lauren was there cuddling, playing, caring, and loving on our fur babies. I trust her and recommend her to anyone! We will without a doubt be using her again. She is a jewel!
I have known Lauren for a very long time. She is a very kind, gentle, and loving person. I have personally seen Lauren interact with different kinds of animals, and she is always loving and accepting of them. She has also been a pet parent prior to working for rover, so she has experienced caring for animals first hand. I would be so comforted and not worrying knowing Lauren was taking care of my animals while being away, because they are in great hands with her! Your fur babies will be taken great care of with Lauren!

A typical day

I am currently a Medical Student at UAB, and I moved to Huntsville to begin clinical rotations at the hospital. I am widely available on weekends and weekday evenings, and I will keep my calendar updated according to my shifts.
