Pet care experience
Since the age of 5, I have taken care of dogs full time. Over the years, my family has shown a particular interest in Dachshunds and we have cared for a total of 6 throughout my life. My family focused on senior dogs, as well as dogs with disabilities for a while, giving them a loving and caring home to spend the rest of their days. Living with animals who had disabilities, or who were just old in age, was not always the easiest, but it gave me a whole new appreciation for them and the way they live. More recently, I have adopted 3 pitbull mixes. This was definitely a change for me, being so used to small dogs. However, I have quickly adjusted and gained a sincere love for big dogs, and more specifically, pitbulls.

Lauren was absolutely phenomenal! We went on our honeymoon for 2 weeks to SE Asia and had limited ability to communicate. We were very worried about leaving our senior dog for that long since she has started having some issues lately. Lauren was amazing and did such a great job caring for both our dogs! She is very experienced with senior dogs and followed all of our instructions perfectly. She also cleaned the house and washed the dogs beds which was so sweet and wonderful to come home too! The best thing is how flexible she was.. we had a delay in our flight and had to come back a day later, Lauren was very understanding and agreed to stay the extra night! It was such a relief knowing our girls were in good hands (and spoiled with treats!) while we were so far away. We will call on Lauren anytime we’re out of town!
I could not have been happier with Lauren! I came home after my first time leaving my dog to a happy pup and a clean house(she even cleaned the sheets and remade the bed-so nice to come home to after a long day of traveling)! She texted me with updates on him throughout the week and even sent pictures! He has some health issues and she really catered to that and made sure he got his medication! He's a big dog and can be a handful on walks, but Lauren handled it great and made sure he got enough exercise. I am very hesitant to trust my dog with other people but I 100% trust Lauren! I would absolutely recommend Lauren to anyone looking for a dog sitter! She went above and beyond!

My favorite places to go for walks are local parks, as well as dog parks. I enjoy this because of the beautiful nature and scenery, something different than the usual neighborhood walk.
