I am a recent graduate of UCSB, and I worked for about a year as a Kennel Attendant at the Dog Adoption and Welfare Group. D.A.W.G. is a non-profit no-kill shelter - the only one in Santa Barbara county! Now I am just looking for a little extra time taking care of some awesome dogs in the Sacramento area! I grew up around dogs, so I am used to being around all kinds, big and small. In my daily work at D.A.W.G., I was responsible for feeding large and small dogs, providing any necessary medication (as well as catering to any other medical needs dogs may have that require special attention or care) and cleaning kennels. I am comfortable around dogs of all sizes, ages, and personalities, and have gained some experience in reading the body language of dogs and training techniques to foster a loving, working relationship.
