Pet care experience
I am a long-time pet owner and animal lover that would love to walk, play, and care for your pets in your home while you are away! My pet care philosophy is to treat every animal as an individual. Before I moved to Dallas this past summer, I was a volunteer with Austin Pets Alive, a no-kill shelter in Austin, TX. For four years, I volunteered weekly in their dog kennels, neonatal ward, and cat adoption center. I have worked with cats and dogs of all breeds, ages, and personalities and I am willing to work with pets that have special needs. (My own dog is a dachshund adoptee that struggles with territoriality and leash reactivity.) Even if your animal does not have special needs, please schedule a meet and greet with me so I can be sure that I am a good fit for your pet!

Lauren was quick to reply to my initial request and was available throughout my time away. I booked her to watch my 2 cats and everything looked like it went well. She provided pics while I was away to keep me updated. I appreciated how easy she was to communicate with while I was away.
Lauren was AMAZING. She was super sweet and all 3 of my fur babies (1 dog 2 cats) loved her immediately. Even one of my cats (who doesn’t like to come near anyone he doesn’t know) took to her quickly. She sent me photos throughout the day so I could see them and I didn’t feel like I needed to worry about them throughout my day. She took care of them on my wedding day and I felt 100% positive that they were in amazing hands. Thank you Lauren!!!!!
Lauren was awesome at communicating how the stay with my pets was going. She provided pictures and updates and I knew my pets were well cared for. She provided a lot of care and attention. She is knowledgeable, kind and helpful.
Lauren sent lovely pictures and kept me updated during my entire vacation. Also, when she came to meet my girls they absolutely loved her so i know that they were in good hands. I will definitely be using her for further services.

I do not have any breed or age preferences, but I prefer to sit only small to medium dogs and cats at this time. Please let me know if your pet has any behavior issues like leash reactivity, separation anxiety, or food/toy aggression so I can be sure not to take them out of their comfort zone. I would also like to know if your pet has any special needs or dietary requirements to ensure that I give them the care they need.
A typical day
I can match the activity level of any pet! I would love to take your dog to their favorite walking trail or dog park. I am just as happy to stay close to home and play fetch in the living room if that is you and your dog's preference!
