Pet care experience
I have fostered and volunteered through a dog rescue for 8 years and have been able to open my home to 27 amazing dogs over the years. I have a special place in my heart for senior and disabled dogs, which has led me to adopt two seniors and a deafie of my own! I have ownership experience with dogs 4lbs-145lbs as well as cats.

Lauren was fantastic! She house sat for me and my dogs loved her and seemed to be so comfortable around her. She took great care of them and even let them sleep with her. I’ve already booked with her again for our next trip and would recommend her to anyone looking for a very knowledgeable and friendly person for pet sitting.
Lauren is great! We met a few weeks in advance to make sure Gus was okay with her. Then we met again to show her my apartment. While I was gone, I didn’t worry about Gus at all. I got good communication and a couple of awesome pictures of Gus! I’ve already rebooked another home-stay with her!
Lauren is the best! She so obviously loves dogs and we were delighted to have her housesit with our 3. She even got the grumpy one to cuddle with her a bit! That says a lot because he is very selective. No issues at all and so nice to know we can rely on her when we need our 3 guys to be coddled when we’re out of town!

I would also love to take your dog on an outing to get a pup cup, visit dog friendly stores, walk your neighborhood, or even take a nice hike at Buffalo State Park if adventure is what they’re looking for! For the more laid back or limited mobility pets, I’ve collected a wide variety of calm enrichment activities as well.

A typical day
I enjoy hiking and would love to take your dog along! If your dog enjoys more relaxed outings I am happy to take them for a visit to a pet friendly store and stop for a small treat! For senior, lower energy dogs I know all of the good dog movies (no sad endings!) and have all sorts of enrichment activities that work the mind when the body needs a rest!

Availability
I am currently employed as a full time teacher and am primarily available for pet sitting (in your home or mine!) and dog walking. I spend nearly all of my free time doing pet related activities either with my own animals or, hopefully, yours!
