I would love to know all about your dog, its important to know of any and all health issues they may have and any preferences or strong dislikes they have (doggies are a lot like us in that they do prefer certain things over others and i believe its important to honor that, especially since they are away from their family.) I do not have any breed preferences, but, I require that all dogs are potty trained, and that they don't have a history of aggressive behavior toward adults, children, as well as other dogs.

I live in central Phoenix near Bridal Path which is excellent for shaded walks as well as runs or walks on the canal. We love to play fetch and frisbee. During the summer we like to get wet and play in the sprinkler or pool (if your dog is a swimmer). we have a fenced backyard for free play time and a nice shady porch for taking a rest.
