Pet care experience
Hello! I've always loved and been around different types of animals all my life, including guinea pigs, cats, dogs, fish, rabbits, and others. I have worked at a dog training facility with boarding and daycare as a kennel technician, and have experience with different breeds, sizes, and temperaments. I'm also comfortable in my ability to administer medications and provide basic bathing/grooming. I currently have two guinea pigs, Baby Boi and Lava Girl. Friends and family know they can count on me to babysit and love their four-legged family members.

As per usual, Lauren was AMAZING. Our animals are happy and healthy, and our house looks as good or better than when we left. We will continue to book Lauren's services any time we go out of town!
Lauren did a great job with Dimitri! He was uncertain as this was his first dogsitter, but he liked her from the beginning. She was very patient with him not consistently eating and acting out a little bit. She communicated with me, sending updates and pics. She was VERY respectful of my home and did a great job cleaning up tiny shards of glass when Dimitri tipped over some glass vases on my windowsill (NOT Lauren's fault at all). Would definitely use Lauren again!

Lauren was fabulous, as usual! Even in the face of technology issues and a sneaky little kitty cat, she was amazing and patient and kind. She's always respectful of the house and leaves it as clean or cleaner than when she got there. Dependable, trustworthy, super!

When I care for anyone's four-legged family member/members, I stay vigilant and take extra precautions to ensure that we're both physically safe and mentally sound. With that being said, I currently cannot accept strong dogs who require daily walks and also pull a lot while walking on a leash, as I am dealing with a bad shoulder and would not want to jeopardize anyone's safety.

A typical day for me depends on a typical day for your pet/pets. Ideally, I would prefer to not change up too much in their schedule as they may already be under the stress of not having their favorite person/people around.

Availability
I currently have an open schedule, so I am able to offer full-time and overnight pet care in your home. At this time, I can only accept stays that are one week long or less, as I do have two guinea pigs at home who I need to check on at least every other day.
