I first began working with dogs at age 18 when I became a part time group leader at a local doggy daycare. I was routinely responsible for between 15-20 off leash dogs at a time. I quickly became engrossed in my work, becoming the safety officer for both dogs and humans. I learned a lot of psychology behind off leash dog play and dog behavior in general. I worked my way up to assistant manager and grooming apprentice. I still think back to this - it was my favorite job I've ever had. I left there to work at a local general practice veterinary office where I spent several years. I then moved on to a large emergency and specialty practice where I spent another five years. I have experience caring for all types of animals from pocket pets to horses. I now work as a Registered Nurse, but animals of all kinds remain one of my passions. I'd love to meet your furry family!
