I've been training to the public for about 5 years, and walking my own dogs longer that. In my years training I've seen a lot of adorable pain in the butt dogs, with busy pet parents at their wits end! What I found with my own adorable *former* pain in the butt, is that structured walks, a few times a week, greatly reduced behaviors like barking, chewing, lunch at the trashcan, and general mischief. I found that if my dogs were asleep in the evening then they had done their job, and so had I. I only use the gentlest methods, positive reinforcement and equipment, nothing that chokes or pokes! Did you know the minimum daily requirement for most healthy dogs is an HOUR of activity EVERY day? That's a big commitment, so let me help you!
