Pet care experience
I have grown up caring for a training family pets. I also have years of experience working with rescue dogs both within rescue centres and fostering in my home. I am experienced with many types of behavioural difficulties and am confident using positive reward based training methods to work with these. I am particularly passionate about helping nervous, under socialised dogs.

Lauren has cared for our dog in our home several times now and she is consistently excellent. This time, we went away for 5 nights trusting that our dog and our home were in safe hands. Lauren sent us updates and Oscar was a happy chappy when we came home today! Thank you Lauren!
This site should have 6 stars for Lauren. Lauren was professional, polite. Lauren looked after Thomas in our house and I got regular updates from her. Thomas was happy, calm, and well looked after. We were so thankful to have Lauren pop in to be with Millie! Lauren was so sweet and patient with her as she’s been a bit nervous since our move. We were so impressed by how organized and professional she was in terms of getting to know our dog and what she likes, doesn’t like, needs, etc. before the date we were leaving so that we felt really comfortable and like Millie was in great hands while we were gone. We’ll definitely have Lauren checking in on Millie in the future!

The area that I live has many safe walking areas around that can be reached either by car or on foot. My home is safe and secure with a high fenced garden. I have one dog of my own who is happy to share his space if we have visiting dogs.
Information Lauren S. would like to know about your pet
It's important for me to know the individual personality of the dog so I can connect with them and make my stay as relaxed as possible for them. I will also need to know of they have any past experiences that may affect their behaviour i.e. nervousness, fear of strangers, fear of dogs etc so that I can manage that and not put them into situations where they may feel uncomfortable.
A typical day
I like to cater for dogs based on their individual needs and what they will get the most from. For intelligent dogs that like to use their brain, I like to play lots of enrichment games with them. For those that like physical exercise more, I like to make sure they get plenty of walks and play fetch in the garden. And there are those that just wants cuddles and affection and they'll get plenty of that every day.
