I graduated from CSU with a B.S in zoology and have been caring for neighbors’ pets since the 4th grade. Since then i’ve expanded to livestock and horses, large birds, and even baby bear cubs. I’ve worked with CSU’s Pets Forever program to help people maintain the ability to care for their pets - including walking, cleaning, delivery of supplies, etc. I am a veterinary assistant with Banfield Pet Hospital and am in the process of getting my technician certification and Fear Free certification. I currently have a 3 year old heeler/ husky mix and a 3 year old husky/ pointer mix at home and a fire skink. I love our furry faced friends and want to make sure they have the best care. Having worked in zoos, I’ve learned about the importance of enrichment and keeping an animal’s mind engaged. My current job is the front desk of an animal hospital.
