I'm new to the east coast and am looking forward to exploring this beautiful area with some furry companions at my side. I graduated from Michigan State University last year with a bachelor's degree in Zoology/Animal Behavior - so I know exactly what your pup needs. Since I was little, there has always been a dog in my house. I grew up with Labradors, Pit Bull mixes, German Shepherds, and a Puggle. My parents taught me responsibility, time management, and work ethic via the tasks that I had with our pets. Additionally, I cared for a 20-gallon freshwater fish tank for years (in middle school) as well as an African Pygmy Hedgehog (throughout college). No matter how great or small, I believe that all animals should be treated with the utmost respect that any person would be given. Give me a chance to pamper your pooch :)

Amazing sitter! Always on time. Lots of pictures, videos, and communication. Does well with my - people sensitive dog and Lady, her dog, somehow convinces my “dog sensitive dog” to play. My kids are well taken care of with Lauren!
5/5 definitely recommend! Lauren’s super, bubbly, personality and experience with animals made her the perfect candidate to watch my little man! She brought her pup Lady along which made me feel more at ease that my baby was getting all the attention he needed. She sent lots of pictures and videos and even took my bubs to the park! Would definitely recommend!
Lauren is a wonderful dog sitter for my girls! She is very prompt and professional, and has an amazing personality. She truly loves animals and it shows! She brought along her fur baby to play with mine and they had so much fun. She kept me regularly updated throughout the visit with photos and videos. We are very happy to have Lauren sit for us and would definitely recommend her!
Lauren is great with my dog. She communicated promptly and was on time. She pays attention to my requests and makes sure my dog is doing good.

Raising a puppy in my home - completely on my own - has really showed me that they can get into anything and everything! That being said, I have ensured that there is nothing dangerous on or near the floor, all things edible are high up on shelves/inside of cabinets, and that she (my dog) has ample room to run around and play in.

It's important for me to know that your dog can get along with other dogs since most likely, my pup will be coming along with me. If you prefer that your dog not socialize with my dog, that's fine! Just let me know.
A typical day
My pup is high energy so I'm used to playing with her a lot, taking her on frequent walks, taking her to the dog park, and more! I plan on doing the same with your dog - unless they prefer a more low-key afternoon. I am also very experienced with dog training and can practice commands/general obedience with your dog.

Availability
I'm carrying out my graduate degree from home in a virtual/remote setting, therefore, I've had lots of time to raise my 9 month-old German Shepherd/Lab puppy and have additional time to work with Rover! I take a couple of breaks throughout my workday to take my dog on a 20-minute walk and always end our day at the nearby dog park. We'd love to have other pups join us!
