Pet care experience
Hello! I am a dance teacher at a high school during the year but since it’s summer I’m home all day now! I grew up with 4 large dogs, owned a small terrier after college, lived with a Great Dane, and am currently a dog mom to an amazing Shiba Inu named Bear who LOVES other dogs. He is 5 months old but we spend a lot of our time at the big dog section of the dog park. I have an apartment, but I do live alone so I could have your pet here if they aren’t too big. I love working on commands with my pups so if you’re working on something specific I’d love to be able to help. Please feel free to ask questions if you have them, hope to meet you and your pup soon!

Lauren was great! Communication with her was easy and consistent from the second we booked and throughout Tucker's stay with her. She gave excellent updates and didn't hesitate to ask questions about Tucker's preferences or habits. Our flight returning home was delayed by several hours, and she remained flexible around when we could pick Tucker up. He seemed as happy and energetic as ever when we finally got him, which means he was in great hands. I highly recommend booking with Lauren.
Lauren helped take care of our lab while we were gone, and we couldn’t be happier with the service we received. She was very professional and also caring. She gave us updates on when she arrived, sent pictures during the walk, and let us know when she left. I would highly recommend Lauren, and will use her services again in the future.
Lauren was excellent in taking care of Maya for an extended weekend stay. Maya received plenty of attention and Lauren even took her on daily runs. I look forward to using Lauren again as a reliable sitter!

I have no breed preferences and love all dogs! I would just like to know if your dog has any special needs or doesn’t get along with other dogs since I have a pup myself. If your dog has injected medication you will need to show me how as I never have administered medication this way but wouldn’t have a problem doing it.
A typical day
I live across the Buffalo Bayou and know the trails very well. I would love to take your pup on a run or walk with me! I also love going to Levy park! If your dog likes being with people or other dogs, I can take him/her to a dog friendly patio for lunch or dinner and make sure he/she is well socialized while you are away.
