Pet care experience
I’m a Mycologist (I study fungi 🍄) and recently moved to La Crosse to get a Master’s of Biology at UWL! I've spent most of my life helping care for all different types of pups, big and small, friendly and shy, solitary and in packs. I adore dogs and love to have as much fun as they do. I'm willing to exercise with them and will be sure they are relieved and tuckered out. If that’s not their vibe, a walk and/or cuddle time can be a blast for all parties. Let me show your dog some love when you're not around! I have experience in an animal shelter, caring for my own and others' pets as well as years of child care. I've taken nervous pets to the vet and for grooming countless times. I'm patient, responsible, and have a flexible schedule. I come from a family of successful dog walkers and am excited to carry on the legend!

Lauren was great with our pup! She arrived on time and our pup seemed well taken care of. Lauren even took pictures of the mushrooms in our yard that the pup had been chewing on, in case we were worried about them.
Lauren is great. When I had to leave my pets with Lauren I never had to worry about them because they were in great hands. I trusted her completely. She is most conscientious, takes notes on my pets needs, and very caring with all my pets. I recommend her to anyone.
I've gone away multiple times for about a week or so and had Lauren take care of my dog Dhaka and two birds. Usually I feel bad for being gone so long, but she took such great care of them it made me so happy to know they had her. She sent me pictures and updates along the way, and they all seemed super content when I got back. My neighbors told me they saw her and Dhaka going on frequent excursions through the forest so I knew he got plenty of exercise and attention. She even taught my birds how to say new phrases! That means they had to have been very comfortable with her, which can be difficult to achieve. Can't imagine a better person to leave my fur and feather babies with, 10/10 would highly recommend
Lauren housesat for me and took care of my cats while I was gone for a holiday. I felt very safe and comfortable having her in my home, and the cats seemed so happy to be around her. She is a responsible, wonderful person and I would fully recommend her for pet sitting.
