My name is Lauren & I am the Founder & President of Never Look Back rescue, a 501c3 organization, dedicated to saving Texas strays & shelter dogs. I started out training dogs, with a strong background in basic obedience & socialization. Most of my experience involves the rehabilitation of feral & stray intakes that come into our rescue so patience, decompression, & routine are always key components in our household. We currently work from home, due to covid & managing our rescue full time which gives me the ability to dedicate my time to helping more dogs in need, whether it be rescue dogs or slumber pawty guests. Fireworks are also illegal in the city of Granite Shoals, which we love, as I know that offers some peace of mind to parents of fearful pets. As someone that doesn't spend much time away from home because of my own dogs, I understand the importance of having trustworthy, reliable, & loving care for our furbabies while we're away, so I strive to be just that for pet parents in need. One of my greatest joys is pet photography & I love getting the opportunity to meet new pets that I can capture photos of & share with their families, during their stay. Due to covid restrictions, I am home 24/7; No matter your pet's routine, I am happy to help & follow with ease, to best ensure a comfortable vacation for them, too. All earnings through Rover.com go directly towards the rescue :) This my full time job! When I’m not managing my rescue, I am tending to our guests while their families are away. My personal pets do not do well being boarded, so we offer our love & support to those that need a little home, away from home :) We are a family of 3, with all of us home full time! When we have guests with us, we plan accordingly with Instacart orders & maybe some DoorDash to avoid having to leave our house guests alone in a new place. I also love to take their pictures & send updates every chance I get!
